Our homestead inspires the young at heart and those hungry for adventure or a unique experience. We open our doors several times throughout the year hosting extravagant Dinners, Artists Sudio Tours or other events. Our Events usually require a reservation so please join our mailing list to get emailed invitations or check our site regularly.

The Martyn House has three Luxury Sleeping Tents for guests. Be sure to book early to stay here during our local events or one of The Martyn House own events. There is a minimum two night stay(double occupancy).

Dinners

Several times a year we celebrate the culinary gifts from the earth with a variety of dinners. The dinners vary throughout the year and include Farm to Table Dinners, Theme Dinners, Guest Chef Dinners among others. Most of the food is organic and locally grown.

Our dinners are by Reservation Only. Payment must be received to confirm your place at the table. Once we receive your reservation we will send out a confirmation. Be sure to join our mailing list indicating your interest in our dinners and you will be the first to receive details of the event as the dinners do sell out.

Artist's Studio Tour

The 1st Artist's Tour of 2010 takes place from April 30 - May 2.

The Tour begins on Friday night April 30, 7- 9 pm. This will be a Culinary Art Celebration and an enchanting evening under the tents as artists present their work.  The Culinary Art Event is reservation only and tickets must be purchased in advance. The Tour continues Saturday and Sunday May 1st and 2nd here at The Martyn Housse from 11am to 4pm.The Artist's Studio tour is a great way for people to gain insight into the creative process, the work life, and work environment of an artist. Resident Artists Rick Lucas and JoAnn Antonelli not only open their studios for tour, but invite local artists to show on their property as well, creating a wonderful event of the arts. Tours also provide an opportunity for people to purchase original works of art from the creators themselves.

The Artists Studio Tour will repeat itself again in November 5-7, 2010
